Bandy Zorkiy severely sanctioned

   The participants of a meeting of the Russian Bandy Federation Disciplinary Commitee studied an incident which took place during a match of the Russian Cup second stage between Rodina and Zorkiy in Archangel. Andrei Rushkin, a player of the Moscow Region's team, was disqualified for ten games for assaulting the referee, and Zorkiy was fined 20 thousand roubles, SE correspondent Vladimir YURIN reports.

   The match between the teams from Krasnogorsk and Kirov, which the latter won 3:2, was to decide who would take part in the Cup's quarterfinal. No wonder emotions overwhelmed the players by the end of the game.
