Belorussian national team is strengthened by the former Russian sportswomen, who for some reasons haven't entered the Russian team. SE has already reported about the transfer of Svetlana Nagaikina to the Belorussian team, now Elena Kalugina, Vera and Natalia Zyatikovi have joined her. Their transfer was approved by the International Skiing Federation.

The same situation is with biathlon. Local sportswomen Irina Tananaiko, Olga Nazarova, Ekaterina Grigorieva and Liudmila Lisenko were joined by the former representatives of Russian sport - world champion among juniors Elena Khrustaleva and Universiada-1999 winner Evgenia Kutsepalova.
