Third place winner and the best striker of the Olympic games-2000 Sofia Konuh is recognized as the best player on the USA championship-2000 according to the Waterpolo World Magazine, says SE-Internet correspondent Boris TITOV.

Since last year the pupil of Chelyabinsk water polo, two times Russian champion in Uralochka team (Zlatoust), two times third place winner in Europe in Russian national team Sofia Konuh, who has celebrated her 21 birthday in September is studying at the South California University (Los-Angeles) and playing for the student club Trojans. In the USA championship in 2000-2001 she held a club record on results. She scored 103 goals and led Trojans to the third place.
