Two games of the Russian championship were played in the Eastern group. SKA-Neftianik (Khabarovsk) confidently won over Yunost (Omsk) on the rival's turf- 4:0, while Metallurg from Bratsk couldn't do the same in Yekaterinburg - after leading 2:0 the newcomers to the Upper League let two goals pass in the last ten minutes of the game. |
The first half of the match played in Omsk witnessed an equal game. Only after Golitarov scored, the guests could enjoy the interval with a small advantage. After the interval the Khabarovsk players took the initiative in their hands. The hosts' goalkeeper Dmitri Atapin should be specially noted. Thanks to his solid actions the Omsk team escaped with only four goals in their net, SE Internet correspondent Alexander LIUTIKOV reports. |
Three more games - in Kemerovo, Novosibirsk and Krasnotutyinsk should be over later. |
